  2. Pearl (Moon),
  3. Red Coral (Mars),
  4. Emerald (Mercury),
  5. Yellow Sapphire (Jupiter),
  6. Diamond (Venus),
  7. Blue Sapphire (Saturn),
  8. Hessonite (Rahu), and
  9. Cat’s Eye (Ketu).
Significance and Usage
Balancing Energies: These stones are believed to neutralize negative effects (malefic positions) of planets in a person’s horoscope. This is the प्रतिकूल (pratikūla) school of thought where the main usage is to block or overcome evils and malevolent forces of nature.

Health and Prosperity: Wearing the complete set is thought to bring good health, wealth, and professional success. This is the अनुकूल (anukūla) school of thought where the main usage is to strengthen the benevolent forces of nature to protect the native from dangers and disease.

Placement: In a traditional Navaratna pendant or ring, the Ruby is placed in the center, surrounded by the other eight stones.
Arrangement: The stones are often arranged clockwise around the central ruby: Diamond, Pearl, Red Coral, Hessonite, Blue Sapphire, Cat’s Eye, Yellow Sapphire, and Emerald.

Consultation: It is highly recommended to consult a Vedic astrologer to ensure the stones are authentic and suitable for the individual.
They are used in various jewelry forms, including rings, bracelets, and pendants, to harness their combined cosmic power.
